Ways to Donate
Cash Gifts
This is the easiest and most convenient way to support the
hospital. Simply make checks payable to the Sequoia Hospital
Foundation. Please fill out our convenient
contribution form
to
make your donation.
Securities
Gifts of marketable securities can afford donors considerable tax
advantages. In most cases, the full market value of the stock can
be deducted as a charitable contribution.
Charitable Deferred Gift Trusts
Trusts such as unitrusts can be established to provide life income
for the donors. A donor may also create a lead trust which provides
an income stream to the Foundation for a period of years, with the
remainder interest reverting to beneficiaries, such as family
members. Sequoia Hospital Foundation encourages donors to consult
their attorneys and other advisors concerning the details of their
gifts.
Bequests
A will is an important part of any family's financial plan. Donors
may make a gift by bequest in their will. After providing for
relatives and friends, an individual may stipulate that some or all
of the remaining assets be given to the Sequoia Hospital
Foundation, providing a lasting legacy and reducing the taxable
portion of an estate.
Matching Grants
If you work for a company that has a matching gift program, you may
double the strength of your gift. Many companies have these
programs and we encourage you to check with yours. Matching grants
can make a dramatic impact on patient care.

the amount of the gift. You may use the
