 The Sequoia Hospital Foundation is privileged to honor Dr. William Kennett and his family by providing two $12,500 scholarships for two student nurses in the Sequoia Hospital/San Francisco State University Bachelor of Science Nursing program at Cañada College. A loving father, husband, physician and friend, Dr. Kennett delivered more than 6,000 babies during his 40 year association with Sequoia Hospital. Following his death in 2004, the Dr. William Kennett Memorial Nursing Scholarship was established to honor the commitment to "family-oriented healthcare" he so dearly embodied.
